About LoanPayoffLab
Free, transparent loan payoff calculators — no signup, no email wall, no dark patterns. Just amortization math that shows your real debt-free date.
Why this site exists
Most loan calculators either bury the payoff date behind a lead form or show numbers without showing the math. LoanPayoffLab does the opposite: every calculator runs a full month-by-month amortization schedule in your browser, and every page documents exactly how the numbers are computed.
Where the numbers come from
All calculations use the standard amortization formula — the same one your lender uses for simple-interest loans. Extra payments apply straight to principal; lump sums apply on the month you choose; biweekly mode models 26 half-payments per year. The methodology page has the full formulas.

How we make money
Right now, we don't. The calculators are free and always will be. If we later add advertising or affiliate partnerships, we will disclose them clearly on every affected page — and calculator outputs will never be influenced by commercial relationships.
